First ride went off without a hitch. Great group of 8 guys. After 15 minutes of rolling through scenic neighborhoods with minimal stops, we went the next 2 1/2 hours or so with little to no slowing or stopping. This made for some crispy legs, especially for those poor souls who rode from home. We rode 2 abreast and at a pace that put pressure on the legs, but was far from race-pace. Total ride time ended up being about 3 1/2 hours.
Weather permitting, a ride will likely leave from the school this Tuesday, Dec 23rd, time TBD.
Stay tuned for further updates.
This poor soul will be riding from the school on Tuesday.......that was a long day riding from my house......legs are like fried chicken today.....

I can go, but the earlier the better. Whether the temp is 28, 38 or 48, it's all cold.

Ricky suggested 10, so we have a wide range of times. What's a good compromise? Earliest I've gotten was 10 and latest 12. Weather at 10 is 34 degrees and 37 at 11am. As Roy said, that 3 degrees isn't gonna make a difference, so let's go with 10. (Sorry, Jason) I have to get my shopping done tomorrow any ways. 10am AT THE SCHOOL. No 15 minute rule like last week! :-)
ReplyDeletetoo cold for me. you guys have fun. I'm gonna wait till later.
